Bikur Cholim
Bikur cholim, "visiting the sick," in Hebrew, is a term encompassing a wide range of activities performed by an individual or a group to provide comfort and support to people who are ill, homebound, isolated and/or otherwise in distress.
Chabad offers chaplaincy services to area hospitals, providing comfort and guidance during difficult times. Additionally Chabad endeavors to serve any needs visiting patients and family members may have.
If you or someone you know is currently hospitalized or homebound please contact us.
Volunteers are needed! Opportunities to help are as varied as the individuals and groups who perform them. If you may be able to help in this important Mitzvah please contact us.
In case of emergency please contact Chabad's Bikur Cholim Directors, Marty and Mere Schwartz at (904) 739-2425.

Is your Mezuzah a blessing? If it's an "original" hand written Mezuzah on sacred parchment, if it's written in Torah script by an ordained and dedicated scribe, then it identifies, sanctifies and protects your home with its blessing. But, if you are not sure, or your Mezuzah has been up for more than 7 years, then according to Jewish Law, it should be inspected to ensure that the ink has not faded and that parchment is still intact. Call us at (904) 262-6641 or Contact Us and we will be happy to come to your home, free of charge, and inspect your Mezuzah. If you are moving into a new home, apartment, or office, we will help you make the proper blessings and put up the Mezuzah correctly.
